Education exclusion for drug prevention certification violations

Excluded by the Secretary of Education as required by the Higher Education Act of 1965, 20 U.S.C. 1145g, and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1986, 20 U.S.C. 3224a, based on a violation of a certification of adoption and implementation of a drug prevention program. Listed institutions of higher education, local educational agencies and State educational agencies are ineligible to receive funds or any other form of financial assistance under any Federal program. An institution or agency must comply with the requirements and procedures for reinstatement of eligibility applicable to any Federal program under which it desires to receive Federal financial assistance. Therefore, the termination date for such denials will be listed as "Indefinite. (Indef).
