Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) GSTAFF, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to The MathWorks, Inc. located at 3 Apple Hill Dr., Natick, MA 01760, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for the purchase of annual support for MATLAB licenses and toolboxes for the Natick Soldier System Center (NSSC) located in Natick, MA 01760. DEVCOM-SC requires annual support for the following MATLAB Licenses and Toolboxes: Master License 1125518, 132284, 135817, 229202, 278034, 365116, 540095, 540096, 576938, 616780, 627748, 627751, 627752, 631032, 698921, 709602, 711599, 711600, 803150, 827535, 85861, 866203, 878623, 881434, 930796, 930797, 930798, 930799, 930800, 930801, 930802, 988772. The MATLAB licenses are used throughout the Soldier Center workforce to provide support for research and development (R&D) requirements, and for developing software to run scientific instrumentation and simplify data analysis for large dataset for programs on the team. MATLAB has been provided with unique toolboxes specific to the various R&D Soldier Center mission needs. MATLAB has features such as built-in editing, debugging tools, and data structure that other source software does not, and cannot, replicate. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 513210 and the size standard is $47M. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending responses regarding this requirement to the Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Division (CCAP-DDN), via email ONLY to Chris Welsh (Contract Specialist) at Richard.c.welsh2.civ@army.mil no later than 12:00 pm EST on 12 June 2026. Any questions regarding this notice must be in writing only; no telephonic replies will be accepted. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to the Notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
