Description
The Centralized Laboratory Department of the U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit SOUTH (NAMRU SOUTH) performs molecular diagnosis of public health pathogens such as influenza virus, adenovirus, metapneumovirus, enterovirus, rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus, Mayaro virus, Alphaviruses, Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus, Western equine encephalitis virus, Eastern equine encephalitis virus, Mayaro virus, Una virus, Trocara virus, Oropouche virus, Arenavirus (Tacaribe), Dengue virus, SARS-CoV-2 and Zika. All these assays are performed on real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) instruments, such as the Real Time PCR 7500 Fast, RT-PCR QuantStudio 5, and RT-PCR QuantStudio 7 Flex. The following instruments require annual preventive maintenance and calibration service: S/N Instrument Location 272515111 Thermocycler, Real-Time PCR. QuantStudio 5 (0.1mL) Lima 272521857 Thermocycler, Real-Time PCR. QuantStudio 5 (0.2ml) Lima 278871932 Thermocycler, Real-Time PCR. QuantStudio 7 Flex (0.1mL) Lima 275015260 Thermocycler, Real-Time PCR 7500 FAST Lima 272514686 Thermocycler, Real-Time PCR. QuantStudio 5 (0.1ml) Iquitos For servicing instruments listed above, the purchase of reagents for proper calibration is required. Services should be executed as soon as contract is awarded, either in Lima or Iquitos. Country: Peru
