Description

Pavilion Insulated Glass This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for market research and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 10, California Great Basin, Central California Area Office (CCAO) is seeking potential sources capable of fabricating and delivering insulated glass units for installation in a timber pavilion. The Government is evaluating the appropriate acquisition strategy. The requirement is for the fabrication and delivery of custom insulated glass units sized to fit the end truss openings of a 24' x 50' pavilion. - The contractor will be required to verify field dimensions prior to fabrication. - Delivery will be to 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, CA 95630. - Delivery is expected within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). A detailed Specifications document, including drawings and reference photographs, is attached to this notice. The anticipated NAICS code for this requirement is 327215, Glass Product Manufacturing Made of Purchased Glass, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Competition, set-aside decisions, and the determination of whether a brand name or equal specification is appropriate may be based on the results of this market research. Interested firms should submit a capability statement addressing their ability to meet the attached specifications.
