For: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC/PZIOC), Edwards Air Force Base, CA NAICS Code: 238320 � Painting & Coatings Contractors This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information (RFI) to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The Government will not pay for the information requested herein. Only non-classified information shall be provided in your response. Copies of the submitted information may be reproduced for Government review. The Department of the Air Force is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of Interior and exterior painting, coatings and miscellaneous repair and maintenance of windows, doors, flooring, hangar doors, roll up doors, road stripping, and crane requirements at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), CA, including the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Force Plant 42 (in Palmdale, CA), and other tenant organizations. The Contractor shall furnish all management, personnel, vehicles, supplies, equipment, etc. required to perform work such as, but not limited to: applying paint; priming and applying/maintaining protective coatings on various facilities, surfaces, water/fuel tanks, monuments, signs, abatement of lead and asbestos, and minor drywall repairs, windows, doors, roll up doors, hangar doors, basketball courts, flooring and electrical work. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This notice is intended to help the Government determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and confirm whether alternative solutions are available. Interested parties are requested to submit a letter of interest and a current capability statement. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. Please limit your submissions to ten pages in PDF or Microsoft Word Format.
