Description
The purpose of this notice is to update the contractor community on the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) Statistical Modernization Support (SMS) acquisition. The Government has determined this acquisition will be competed via General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Category 54151S: Information Technology Professional Services. The Government will execute this acquisition in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 8.4 - Ordering Under the Federal Supply Schedule and General Services Administration Acquisition Manual/Regulation (GSAM/R) 538.71 - Federal Supply Schedule Ordering Procedures. In accordance with GSAM/R 538.7103-3(a)(2) this acquisition was sent directly to a select group of GSA MAS 54151S Small Business (SB) contractors who were determined most highly qualified based on the results of the RFI. Award will be made to the Offeror who provides the best value to the Government. This notice is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). All selected contractors have already been provided with the RFQ for this requirement. The Government is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept or evaluate quotes submitted in response to this notice.
