Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. This is not a formal request for competitive offers and in no way obligates the Government. The Government retains the right not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice. The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) seeks interested companies that are qualified and authorized to provide emergency repair and parts corrective maintenance, and software subscription services for Caterpillar generators. The contractor shall perform emergency repair corrective maintenance services on the Caterpillar generators at Site R located in Adams County, Pennsylvania.The anticipated period of performance will be for one 12-month base year plus four 12-month option years. The contractor must be able acquire and maintain a SECRET facility clearance while performing work for this requirement. Please see attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for performance requirements.The Product Service Code (PSC) is J030, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment ? Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment; The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310. The Small Business size standard is $12.5 million.Small Businesses, 8(a) small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses and Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Businesses are encouraged to respond.Instructions: All interested companies that have the capability to perform are encouraged to submit a capability statement to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Nala S. Please provide the following information:1. A brief two to three-page synopsis of similar work performed and identify contracts previously awarded under NAICS 811310 (or similar). Include contract number, supported agency, and Contracting Officer contact information.2. Company name, address, UEI and CAGE Code Number.3. Company Point of Contact name, phone number, and email.4. Small businesses must identify their socio-economic status (i.e. small business category (e.g. 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, veteran-owned, or women-owned).5. Are you an authorized Caterpillar (CAT) dealer, reseller, or service provider? Please describe your partnership level and provide evidence of your authorization.6. Identify whether your company offers the services on a Federal Supply Schedule listed under GSA Advantage. 7. Recommended/suggested NAICS codes for this effort if different from 811310.8. Indicate whether you have personnel with active Secret Facility Clearances.9. After reviewing the PWS, do you have any recommendations to improve its clarity, efficiency, or cost-effectiveness?10.
