Description

C26-090 Moog Valve CAUTION: This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the C26-090 Moog Valve for use by United States Air Force (USAF) personnel. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the production data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the procurement of the Moog valve (Part Number: 72049100) or a functionally equal component (see Item Description) under NAICS Code 334513 and FSC Code 6685, in support of the United States Air Force. This requirement is being competed as "Brand Name or Equal" to maximize competition and identify vendors capable of delivering high-performance components that integrate seamlessly into existing systems. To be considered capable of meeting this requirement, potential sources must be able to provide a component that meets or exceeds the following salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics: the item must be a direct drop-in replacement for Moog P/N 72049100 without requiring any modification to existing United States Air Force infrastructure; it must maintain identical pressure ratings, flow rates, and response times as the OEM component; it must be fully compatible with the existing hydraulic and electronic control systems currently in use; and it must meet all relevant aerospace and Department of War (DoW) safety and performance standards.
