Description

Amendment 3 The government is providing the following clarification for situational awareness; the response deadline remains unchanged. Question: It is unclear to us whether or not we will be designing the integration solution or just building the hardware based on government provided specs. The below screenshots from the RFI seem to be sort of contradictory with each other. -Integration Scope: the vendor is responsible for fabricating or procuring all mounting hardware, brackets, cables, and integrating/installing these components and GFE on the trailer IAW the government's TDP. -The vendor is responsible for all non-recurring engineering (NRE) associated with designing the integration solution (e..g. tooling) to meet the performance requirements" Answer: The vendor will be responsible for securely integrating the GFE (generator and trailer). This integration will require either purchased or fabricated components based on the government TDP. The TDP drawings provided at amendment 001 provide an overview to assist with reasonable estimation. There is some flexibility in which specific components can accomplish the task, which is why any vendor may be able to accomplish assembly either with all purchased parts or chose to fabricate unique ones. If a vendor requires tooling to aid in fabricating unique components, they are responsible for its design and the NRE associated with that. ______________________________ Amendment 2 The purpose of this amendment is to correct the response deadline in the attached RFI "Request for Information_LTT-HC_Integration_Contracting with PM Amendment 2" to reflect 13 May 2026, 3:30 PM EST _______________________________ Amendment 1 The purpose of this amendment is to address questions submitted by industry regarding the original RFI posting. Accordingly, the following updates have been made and are provided as attachments to this notice: Revised RFI Document: Please review the updated RFI for requirements clarifications. Associated Part Drawings: Supplemental technical drawings have been provided to assist in the development of responses. Extension of Response Deadline: To ensure industry has sufficient time to review the revised documentation and incorporate these updates into their submissions, the response deadline is hereby extended. Original Response Deadline: May 11, 2026, at 3:30 PM EST New Response Deadline: May 13, 2026, at 3:30 PM EST __________ The Department of the Army is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify sources capable of integrating Advanced Medium Mobile Power Sources (AMMPS) Kits onto either the 1-ton Light Tactical Trailer Heavy Chassis (LTT-HC) or the 2.5-ton M200A1 trailer. The Government owns the competitive Technical Data Package (TDP) for this integration, which will be provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI) under subsequent competitive action. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of this RFI, nor will it pay for any information submitted by respondents.
