Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria Veterans Affairs Medical Center (AVAMC) at 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, LA 71360, requires contractors to provide residential housing services to up to 11 veterans/beneficiaries to include room, board, transportation, therapeutic rehabilitation and recovery and other required services. The purpose of this contract is to provide a safe, low-barrier emergency shelter and coordinated supportive services for veterans experiencing homelessness, with the primary goal of rapidly resolving housing instability and securing permanent housing. The program will deliver comprehensive case management as the central service component, focused on assessing each veteran�s housing barriers, developing individualized housing plans, and actively coordinating with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and community partners to obtain and sustain permanent housing placements.
