Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Interoperbility BidCo LLC for the continued provision of Rhapsody Software and associated services. This acquisition is a logical follow-on to the existing software solution developed and provided by Interoperability BidCo, LLC. The software is currently utilized by public health officials, and continuity of service is essential to maintain operational efficiency and avoid disruption. Transitioning to an alternative vendor would require significant additional time, resources, and costs associated with system implementation, user training, and stakeholder adoption. Accordingly, the Government has determined that Interoperability BidCo, LLC is the only source reasonably available to meet its requirements within the required timeframe. This contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP). See note below This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within insert number of days of the issuance of this notice shall be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at xrm6@cdc.gov by 06/23/2026 at 4:00 PM EST.
