Description
Commercial Pass-Through Heated Holding Cabinets 1. Purpose The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Tallahassee Food Service Department, requires the purchase and delivery of four (4) new commercial-grade, pass-through heated holding cabinets to support institutional meal service operations. The equipment shall be new, current production, and suitable for continuous use in a high-volume correctional food service environment. 2. Minimum Technical Requirements Configuration � Two-section cabinet � Pass-through design � Four insulated solid doors (two front/two rear) � Stainless steel interior � Commercial-grade exterior � Heavy-duty swivel casters with locking front casters Heating System � Electrically heated � Adjustable temperature range of at least 140�F to 180�F � Uniform heat distribution � Digital temperature controls � Exterior digital temperature display � Fast temperature recovery Capacity � Minimum six (6) adjustable shelves � Holds full-size sheet pans or equivalent � Approximately 45 cubic feet or greater interior capacity Construction � Heavy-duty insulation � Stainless steel interior liner � Heavy-duty hinges � Magnetic removable door gaskets � Self-closing doors with stay-open feature Electrical � 208�240 Volt, Single Phase Certifications � NSF Certified � UL or ETL Listed 4. Delivery Provide four (4) complete cabinets, factory assembled where applicable, with operating manuals and warranty documentation. Warranty Minimum one (1) year parts and one (1) year labor warranty with U.S.-based manufacturer support. 6. Contractor Submission Requirements Offerors shall provide manufacturer, model number, product literature, technical specifications, electrical requirements, warranty information, and delivery lead time. 7. Evaluation Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is technically acceptable and represents the best value to the Government based on technical compliance, price, delivery schedule, warranty, and past performance (if applicable). 8. Brand Name or Equal Products offered shall meet or exceed the minimum specifications. Any manufacturer offering an equal product that satisfies the Government's requirements may submit a quotation.
