Description
Request for Quote: microwave communication equipment per the attached Technical Specifications. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with RFO FAR part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) 140G0326Q0112. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at https://www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul/far-part-deviation-guide. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 dated 03/13/2026. ***Items offered must meet or exceed the technical specifications. Interested parties shall submit sufficient documentation and explain how offerings meet, exceed, or differ from each Salient Characteristic for the USGS to evaluate in order to determine technical acceptability of their offer. Merely providing technical specifications without direct comparison is insufficient for evaluation. An addendum may be included with submittal. Failure to provide the requested information may result in removal from the award consideration.*** NAICS: 333220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, 1,250. Delivery Address: USGS Earthquake Science Center, 350 N Akron Road, Building 19, Moffett Field, CA 94035. Delivery date for estimate only: 09/30/2026 or earlier. FOB destination requested. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable method. Equipment Requirement: New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. USGS is tax-exempt. Please submit the following documents: 1. Signed SF 1449 form filled in with firm information, person signing, and line-item prices, offered, etc on Block 30a, 30b, and 30c 2. Firm, fixed price quote 3. Technical submission including Part and Model number and product specifications 4. Place of manufacturing 5. Responses are due to the Contracting Officer's email address at yangzhi_deng@ios.doi.gov by 06/24/2026, 1500 PST. Quotations submitted by hardcopy shall not be accepted or considered.
