The contractor shall provide all equipment as listed in the Equipment Description section below, meeting all specifications for the purpose of the addition of a Haag Streit Simulation Eyesi Surgical Complete System for surgical service and located at the Dallas VA Medical Center which is part of the VA North Texas Healthcare System (VANTXHCS). Description of Work The contractor shall provide all required equipment listed in the Equipment Description section below in brand new condition to the Dallas VA Medical Center for the surgical waste management systems in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Equipment Description Item Quantity Simulation Eyesi Surgical Complete System 1 Common Nomenclature (commercial description): EYESI SURGICAL SIMULATOR Kind of material (i.e., type, grade, alternatives, etc.): Medical grade simulation models (tissue like physical materials), precision machined surgical hardware, durable microscope and display systems, and industrial grade OR machine components. These materials are selected to ensure realistic tactile feedback, optical clarity, and long term reliability in surgical training. Electrical Data (i.e., 110 v, 60 Hz, 3 Ph, etc.): 100/120/230 240 V AC 50/60 Hz Dimensions, size, capacity: 1380 height x 1170 wide x 720 depth mm (54 x 46 x 28") Operating table height 610 860 mm (24.0 33.9") Principles of operation: A virtual reality training simulator for eye surgery Restrictive environmental conditions: Only switch on the simulator if the simulator temperature and the room temperature range between 10 30 °C (50 86 °F). Intended use: The Eyesi Surgical Simulator is a virtual reality training simulator for eye surgery. Eyesi Surgical can be used to train vitreoretinal and cataract surgery. Eyesi Surgical is designed to train techniques, procedures and manual capabilities in preparation for surgery on the human eye. Training with the surgery simulator supplements the educational process. It is not a substitute for comprehensive training under medical guidance, and without further training does not qualify users to perform actual surgery or to medically treat humans.
