No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and all information is subject to modification and is in no way binding on the Government.*** U.S. Army Contracting Command � 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Camp Bondsteel The U.S. Army Contracting Command, 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Camp Bondsteel, is issuing this pre?solicitation notice to inform potential offerors of an upcoming requirement to establish a service support contract for the installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Contracting Office: 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Camp Bondsteel Point of Contact: SSG Jean Carlos Silva, Contract Specialist Product or Service Code (PSC): 6350 NAICS: 561621 Set-asides: none Place of Performance: Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo 1. Introduction This requirement is for a non?personal services contract to provide and install an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The IDS consists of integrated electronic components�including sensors, control units, transmission lines, and monitoring units�capable of detecting all types of intrusion into the protected area, including stay?behind threats. 2. Scope The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, quality control, and management necessary to install the IDS. The Contractor shall manage the total work effort associated with the supply, installation, and all other services required to ensure complete, adequate, and timely performance. 3. Description of Services The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to install the IDS at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Required services include, but are not limited to: Supplying and installing a new distribution/control box near the existing power panel. Supplying and installing underground buried cable sensors (approx. 800 m total). Supplying and installing buried conduced tube for future security camera installation (approx. 200 m total). Supplying and installing four (4) microwave transmitters and four (4) microwave receivers at each corner inside the perimeter fence, including required cabling (approx. 330 m total). Supplying and installing buried cable to connect the new IDS to the existing buried cable network to establish communication with the monitoring center. 4. Additional Information This notice provides a summary of the anticipated requirement. Additional details will be included in the forthcoming solicitation once development is complete. This pre?solicitation notice is issued solely to inform potential offerors of the upcoming opportunity at Camp Bondsteel. 5. How to Respond Interested vendors should provide the following: Company Details: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, and CAGE code. Relevant Experience: A description of experience providing IDS or related security system solutions to the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or other federal agencies. Operational Capability: Vendors must be qualified and capable of operating in Kosovo. SAM Registration: Vendors must be registered in SAM prior to contract award.
