Description
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) Rock Island, IL, on behalf of the Project Lead Joint Services (PL JS), Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS), and Joint Munitions Command (JMC), is seeking information from foreign and domestic vendors interested in the design, construction, installation, and qualification of a flexible modernized manufacturing Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP) facility capable of loading/filling, assembling, and packing various 155MM cargo projectiles at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD), a Government-Owned facility in Richmond, KY. Refer to the Sources Sought Attachment 0001 for more details. Update 30 December 2025 - Industry Day Information for the week of 12 January 2026 has been updated. On 12 January 2026, the Government will hold a virtual industry day (via Microsoft Teams) and provide a briefing on project requirements. Virtual one-on-one sessions with Government personnel and onsite tours at BGAD will be available to vendors starting on the afternoon of 12 January 2026 through 15 January 2026. The virtual one-on-one sessions and onsite tours must be requested by vendors along with registration for the Industry Day. There is no change to the due date for registration on 04 January 2026. If you have already registered for the event, resubmission is not required. Please refer to the updated Attachment 0001 - Sources Sought for 155MM Cargo Projectile LAP Flexible Line Facility Capability for all of the updated information for Industry Day. Update 09 January 2026 - Attachments section updated to include Attachment 0007 - 155MM Cargo Projectile LAP Flexible Line Facility Capability Radiographic Inspection System. Update 12 January 2026 - Attachment 0002 - 155MM Cargo Projectile LAP Flexible Line Facility Capability is updated to clarify that langage regarding cartridge orientations is suggestive, not required. Updated language is in red text. Attachments section updated to include Industry Day Attendee List and Industry Day Slides. The Industry Day slides are updated from what was presented to clarify that the langage regarding cartridge orientations is suggestive, not required. Update 23 January 2026 - The deadline for responses to this Sources Sought Notice has been extended to 20 February 2026. All responses are due by 1630 central time on that date. The Attachments section has been updated with the following documents: 1. Industry Day presentation that was recorded on 12 January 2026 2. Tour script from the Industry Day onsite tours of Buildings 550 and 562 3.
