Description

The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Jered LLC for the procurement of Blast Shield Material in support of USS MASON (DDG-87) Maintenance Availability. The required materials to be provided prescribed herein as per SW323-AJ-MMA-010 Rev 7, 5 Inch Ammunition Strikedown Equipment: PN: J50302082-3 / DESCRIPTION: BLAST SHIELD UPPER; PN: J50302082-2 / DESCRIPTION: BLAST SHIELD LOWER; PN: J50302074-4 / DESCRIPTION: BLAST SHIELD LH; PN: J50302087-1 / DESCRIPTION: BLAST SHIELD CURVED; PN: J50302074-3 / DESCRIPTION: BLAST SHIELD RH. Jered LLC, cage: 98523, UEID: MEMSWT1LFU18 is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and the only authorized provider of parts and services related to the Blast Shields installed on DDG class ships. The required blast shield materials are proprietary to Jered LLC, no third-party companies are authorized or certified to distribute or service equipment manufactured by Jered LLC. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that these items fall under is 332510, with a size standard of 750 employees. The product service code (PSC) is 2040. The notice of intent is for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a request for a proposal, request for quote or an invitation to bid. All sources eligible to provide the requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. The anticipated award date is 11 July 2026
