Description

Amendment to Solicitation 36C24826Q0574 The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions emailed by contractors, (these are not all questions received). See below. There are no additional changes to the solicitation and there are no changes to the Salient Characteristics other than to expand or clarify the descriptions and specifications. Questions and responses: Conveyor oven quantity (CLIN 0003). The base solicitation salient characteristics specify a triple-stack package of three complete ovens. The Amendment 0002 question-and-answer specifies a double-stack system of two complete ovens. These conflict. Please confirm whether CLIN 0003 requires two ovens or three. RESPONSE: CLIN 0003 requires two ovens. Installation, gas, and electrical scope. All line items are listed FOB destination with no separate installation line item, yet the counter specification calls for final electrical connection during installation and the conveyor oven requires a gas connection. Please confirm whether the contractor is responsible for final gas and electrical hookup at the facility (and if so, whether licensed Florida electrical and gas-fitting trades are required), or whether VA personnel perform final utility connections after delivery. RESPONSE: Installation is not required by the contractor.
