Description

The purpose of this amendment is to address questions submitted by an interested vendor. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the same. See below: Question: Could you send photos of the doors that will receive lock equipment ? Answer: See attached PACS Doors Project file. Question: Do you need the electrified lever only or do you need an electric hinge as well? Answer: Suggest armored loop from door frame to electrified equipment. (on Med gas and Bio med door needs to be cross drilled from hinge side to lockset), on exterior doors loop to door where electrified push bar connects. Question: Are the 4 doors a single or double door? Answer: Exteriors are single door, bio-med is a single door, bio-gas is double door, one passive, one active. Question: What type of hardware is on the doors getting electric strikes? Answer: Electrified locksets on bio-med and med-gas are needed, electrified push bars on exterior doors. Question: Any specific model for the electrified panics? Answer: Push bar can be comparable brands no preference. Question: For the wave to open buttons, are there already auto operators? Answer: There are old operators that need replacement. Question: Is there space to mount the wave open buttons or will need bollards and if so, how many? Answer: Wave button on interior only. Wall space is available. Question: Please confirm what does the VA means by drill-out ? Answer: Cross drilling from hinge side to lockset. For wiring to lockset.
