Replace Inner Gate at East Gate

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institute (FCI), Atlanta, (FCI Atlanta) located at 601 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to replace the antique swinging East Gate (inner gate). The contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements, fabricating the fencing/gate systems and installing the fencing and gate systems and all associated hardware and drive mechanisms. All manufacturers� recommendations will be required to be implemented. Period of performance is estimated 153 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice ot Proceed to testing and acceptance of the project. The time frame allotted will allow adequate time for security clearances to be obtained, materials to be ordered and delivered on site, the removal of the old equipment, the work to be completed, system testing to be completed, and demobilization from the work site.
