Description
This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source announcement only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Any responses to this announcement will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise because of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized or appropriated for this effort. Purpose and Objectives: Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, is issuing a notice of intent to pursue a sole source procurement with the New Jersey Department of Treasury for Medical Waste Generator Registration fees for the New Jersey VA Healthcare System. The New Jersey Department of Treasury has been determined as the only one responsible source as determined in accordance with procedures described in FAR 12.102 and the anticipated contract action is hereby publicized in accordance with FAR 5.101 and FAR 5.201. The purpose of this notification is to communicate the Government s intent to solicit and award a sole source purchase of this requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. The NAICS code is 921190 Other General Government Support. The Product Service Code is U005 Tuition/Registration/Membership Fees. This non-competitive award is implemented by FAR 12.102(a), as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under FAR Part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This notice of anticipated contract action is published as required by 15 USC 637, USC 1708, and implemented by FAR 5.201(a). For additional information regarding this action, please contact the POC as indicated below. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government to limit competition for this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Place of Performance: New Jersey VA Healthcare System. If you are an entity with the capability to meet the government s requirements, please respond to this notice with your company s name, POC for Government Sales, Company Website, and a Capability Statement that demonstrates that you are an entity regularly engaged in the sale of the items we seek under the NAICS code 921190. Provide your business size under this NAICS as well as proof of your active SAM registration. Failure to provide this supporting information could affect the Government s ability to find you as an interested and capable party. Responses must be submitted by 10:00 AM EST February 24, 2026.
