The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Pennsylvania City: Scranton Delineated Area: North � North Scranton Expressway (11), Interstate 81 West � Keyser Avenue South � Interstate 81, Interstate 476 East � Interstate 81 Maximum Rentable Sq. Ft.: 3400 Maximum Net Usable Sq. Ft. 2688 Space Type: Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) Parking Spaces (Total): 9 Full Term: 20 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Occupancy Required By: 12/31/2027 NOTE: This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. A Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) may be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a medical building under a lease in Scranton, Pennsylvania for 3,400 rentable square feet (RSF) expiring December 31st, 2027. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant), with 9 on-site surface parking spaces. The preferred space will be first floor contiguous but will be considered non-contiguous and/or other floor levels with working elevators if ADA compliant.
