Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 6 of 6 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 6 This Presolicitation Notice serves as a follow-up to the previously issued Request for Information (RFI) under Solicitation Number 36C10B26R0020. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) anticipates a potential requirement for Patient Elopement and Wandering (PEW) Prevention Systems to enhance safety measures across VA healthcare facilities. These systems support the protection of vulnerable patient populations at risk of elopement, wandering, or unauthorized exit, and are critical components of patient safety programs within Community Living Centers, inpatient medical units, Emergency Departments, and Behavioral Health environments. This acquisition is planned as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Interested parties are encouraged to refer to the previously published Sources Sought Announcement under the same solicitation number for background and additional context. This notice is issued solely for planning and information-gathering purposes and does not constitute a commitment by the VA to procure any products or services. The VA is not requesting proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The formal solicitation for Patient Elopement and Wandering (PEW) Prevention Systems, VISN 21 (Solicitation 36C10B26R0020), is anticipated to be released on or about May 28, 2026.
