Description

The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to procure the Screw, Machine for the AH-64 Apache. NSN: 5305-01-464-1898 P/N: 13283946 Estimated Quantity: 75 EA min / 375 EA max Critical Safety Item: No Delivery Schedule: Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 6 EA for the first nine months and 7 EA for the remaining three months, unless the Contactor can deliver all assets on the first delivery. Delivery Location: TBD The Government does NOT own the technical data package (TDP) for this action. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. The Government has access to the data but does not own the rights to the data. The rights ownership has been verified through the Project Management Office. Reverse engineering is not feasible. Currently the known approved manufacturers for the Screw, Machine are Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE Code: 03640), 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, NY 13827 and Howmet Global Fastening Systems, Inc. (CAGE Code: 5R793), 3990A Heritage Oak CT, Simi Valley, CA 93063. This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 13, Simplified Procedures for Noncommercial Acquisitions, procedures. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 60-month period of performance with five-priced ordering periods. Offerors are advised: THE GOVERNMENT FULLY INTENDS TO EVALUATE QUOTES AND AWARD THE CONTRACT WITHOUT DISCUSSION WITH OFFERORS. Therefore, initial quotes should be submitted containing offerors� most favorable terms. This is a presolicitation notice, NOT a solicitation. No proposals or quotes shall be submitted as a result of this notice. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. The solicitation will be available on the System for Award Management (SAM) website, https://www.sam.gov/. This will be the only method of distribution; therefore, it�s the OFFERORS� RESPONSIBILITY to check the website for postings. Prospective Offerors must be registered in the SAM system in order to participate in this procurement. This is NOT a request for quotes.
