NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO15) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract pursuant to FAR 6.103-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, using the commercial procedures of FAR Part 12, with Teleflex LLC, located at 3015 Carrinton Mill Blvd. Morrisville, NC 27560 for a one-time firm fixed price contract. ���. The Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL has a need for a service contract to provide preventive maintenance and repairs to two (2) Teleflex AC3 Optimus Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABPs). Inserted into the descending aorta, an IABP inflates and deflates synchronously with the heartbeat to increase blood supply to the heart muscle while reducing the workload required to pump blood to the body.
