THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This sources sought request for information is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and the submission will not be returned to the sender. Dyess AFB has a requirement for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to provide a survey/study of the CAS system of what it will take to restore, replace, or upgrade the CAS system at Dyess AFB, reducing the overall manpower needed to conduct maintenance on the B-1 fleet. Please refer to the attached Sources Sought and Draft Statement of Work for more detailed information. Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) showing the company's ability to fulfill the requirement above. Offerors are also invited to submit an informal cost estimate (solely for market research purposes). This cost estimate will be used solely to help the Government determine the magnitude of this requirement. As stated above, no official quotes will be accepted at this time. Responses are requested no later than 10:00 A.M. (Central Standard Time - CST) on 7 May 2026.
