Description

Procurement of 1 InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer Notice of Intent to Sole-source: The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to BioSpace, Inc. to support Malmstrom Air Force Base�s (MAFB) InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer requirement. This action will be executed under the authority mandated by Department of the Air Force Manual DAFMAN 36-2905 (dated 24 March 2026), paragraph 2.19.3. The manual contains a strict, non-discretionary equipment mandate, it stated- �DAFMAN 36-2905 (24 March 2026), para 2.19.3: Ensures adequate facilities and other resources are available to support physical fitness operations at home station and at deployed locations. Note: FSS FACs must acquire appropriate equipment (e.g. AED, InBody model 770) to conduct Physical Fitness Readiness Assessments (PFRAs).� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
