Description
This project is for the removal of 2 half-walls in the waiting area at the U.S. Embassy Consulate in 1010 Vienna. Interested parties shall prepare and submit a quotation according to the detailed tender documents that will be published in the next step of procurement/solicitation notice. Tender specifiations: General Contractor for Construction work, Flooring and Electrical Installation The SOW consists but is not limited to the following: Dust Protection: temporary dust screen made of strong plastic sheeting around the demolishing area (floor to ceiling) Site installation & Logistics Complications: City centre, vehicle access, hotel-office building in operation, neighbors, operating hours, restricted working hours, security measures Demolition, removal and disposal of 2 half-walls: concrete bricks (length sum +14.5m, height=1.3m) and adjacent floor in all layers Electrical installations Dismantling of switches, sockets, wiring in half walls and floors before demolition; new switches/sockets/wires to be installed in existing walls. Filling of the area in the floor+ new flooring (screed, impact sound insulation, laminate flooring) Site-Cleaning renovation area and all affected areas in the building Special requirements The work will be carried out in short time slots (incl. night & weekend) while the facility remains in operation and in the presence of the employees and clients who should not be disturbed during the construction work USG Security regulations Clearance process for employees, cars, material on site Safety and protective measures Execution periods Indicative construction schedule: 4-5 days in fall 2026
