Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice: This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice. It constitutes neither a Request for Proposal nor an Invitation for Bid. It does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. BACKGROUND, SCOPE, AND CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this effort is to provide TRIDENT Refit Facility, Kings Bay (TRIREFFAC-KB) with integrated technical assistance services to support repairs to the Main Reduction Gear (MRG) aboard USS WEST VIRGINIA (SSBN 736). The anticipated contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price. The anticipated period of performance is 21 July 2026 through 21 December 2026. The applicable NAICS code for the subject requirement is 336612-Boat Building, Size Standard is 1,000 employees and PSC code is J036-Maintanace/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Special Industry Machinery. Again, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/REQUEST FOR QUOTE. This is a market research tool. The input provided will help the United States Navy ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of potential businesses both small and large.
