Description
UPDATE Effective 21 April 2026. 1. Salient Characteristics updated to include the following; - Flight capable speed at or greater than 100mph. 2. Close date extended to 27 April 2026 2pm Central Standard Time The Department of the Air Force, 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, is seeking willing and capable sources for NDAA-compliant, small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) in accordance with the specifications listed under the Salient Characteristics Section. DISCLAIMER: This announcement serves as a Sources Sought for NDAA-compliant small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) - Part 10. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is solely for gathering information and planning. It does not constitute a solicitation, commitment, or obligation on the part of the Government. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this notice is voluntary. Therefore, the Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought announcement. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 336411, Aircraft Manufacturing with the corresponding size standard of 1,500 employees. SALIENT CHARACTISTERICS - Hybrid airframe with both Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and high-speed (>150 mph) fixed-wing flight capabilities - Operational range of at least 20 kilometers - First-Person View (FPV) control interface - Fully integrated and certified system of swappable, non-kinetic training payloads (e.g., training payload without pyro-techniques) - Turnkey, ruggedized system designed for immediate field use by unit operators - National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2020 �848 and 2023 �817 compliant - Listed as an approved unmanned aircraft product on the DIU BLUE LIST as of 13 April 2026 - Flight capable speed at or greater than 100mph (Updated effective 21 April 2026) SUBMISSION DETAILS/INFORMATION SOUGHT BY THE GOVERNMENT: 1.
