SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Requirement: Renovate Common Areas of Single Soldier Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) Based on the responses to this Request for Information/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or requests for quotations. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey has a requirement to renovate the common areas of the Single Soldier Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) at Building 209, Fort Hamilton, NY. The work consists of furnishing all labor, expertise, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the renovation. Services include, but are not limited to, the following: Removal and Disposal: Removal of existing cove base, blinds, drapery, an air conditioner, and shower curtains. Furnishing and Installation: Installation of new blackout shades, cove base, a 4-ton split unit air conditioner, shower curtains, and a urinal. Repairs and Finishing: Repairing all window screens, re-pointing mortar joints, and performing extensive surface preparation and painting of walls, ceilings, and doors. Equipment Delivery: Purchase and delivery of specified water source heat pumps. Place of Performance: U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Hamilton Building 209 Brooklyn, NY 11252 Product Service Code (PSC): Z2AZ - Repair or Alteration of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings NAICS Code: A relevant NAICS code such as 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) will be assigned for the solicitation. The Government is seeking capability information from all interested parties. Submittal Requirements: Interested parties should submit a capabilities statement along with the following information: Name of Company Company Address Point of Contact (Name, Phone Number, Email Address) CAGE Code & Unique Entity ID (SAM) Socio-Economic Size Status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) Submission Instructions: Responses to this notice, including any capabilities statement, may be submitted electronically in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format to the points of contact below.
