Description
CAUTION This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to perform mechanical; electrical; instrumentation, data systems, and controls (ID&C); and/or design/build projects for military ground testing facilities. These projects include infrastructure sustainment, restoration, and modernization to support the research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) mission at AEDC. Performance will be primarily required at Arnold AFB TN as well as at the following GSUs: National Full Scale Aerodynamics Complex (NFAC), Mountain View CA (NASA Ames); Tunnel 9, White Oak MD; and the 704th Test Group at Holloman AFB NM (including the 704th�s GSUs: OL-AA located at Kirtland AFB NM, OL-AC located at Wright Patterson AFB OH, and the 586th Flight Test Squadron at White Sands Missile Range NM). AEDC intends to use the information gathered from this sources sought notice to begin to assess capabilities and interests in all aspects of the work to be performed, in order to begin formulating an acquisition strategy for the FARM III effort(s). Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this notice may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this notice. The Government does not intend to award any contracts on the basis of this notice.
