CITY OF CROWN POINT SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, CROWN POINT, LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA (USACE ACQUISITION)

Description

This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project entitled, "City of Crown Point Sanitary Sewer Improvements, Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to provide service to includes lining existing 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameter sanitary sewers, rehabilitating manholes, installing new 12-inch, 15-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch diameter storm sewer lines, manholes and inlets, and deepening the existing Fairfield detention pond by approximately 1 to 2. The work area includes the neighborhoods south of the intersection of E. Greenwood Avenue and S. Main Street extending southeast to Robert A. Taft Middle School and southwest towards Lake County Fairgrounds. CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 SOUTH LaSALLE STREET, SUITE 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in dollars of $39.5 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids ��IFB�) will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY.
