Description
Upgrade Electrical Infrastructure Project 581-22-102 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Hershel Woody Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Huntington, WV intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price contract for Construction Services. This project consists of the contractor providing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, and supervision necessary for the construction services for Project Number 581-22-102 Upgrade Electrical Infrastructure at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV 25704 in accordance with the solicitation documents. Performance period is 1830 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications, drawings, and attachments will be available at https://www.sam.gov . Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All respondents must be registered in SAM data base, see https://www.sam.gov to include the completion of Representations and Certifications and registering with Vets 4212 at https://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. At the time of bid submission, all bidders must be registered in SBA https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ to be considered for award. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the website. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238210, with a small business size standard of $19 million annual receipts for the past three (3) years. The magnitude of construction is between $10.000,000 and $20,000,000. The solicitation package, amendments, and site visit minutes will be issued by way of SAM.gov website only. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing by email aaron.morrison@va.gov . All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be received in writing. There will be a pre-bid site visit for this project which will be held at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the site visit. The date of the site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation based on the availability of funds. It is the responsibility of the contractor to frequently check the web site for all notices, amendments, etc. regarding this solicitation. The government will not be responsible for any notifications not sent or received by contractors regarding this solicitation.
