Description

The Department of the Air Force, AFRL/PKI, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Crown Point Technologies, LLC for the procurement of Siemens-brand software licenses and associated maintenance. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2302b, as implemented by FAR 13.5, which authorizes the use of simplified procedures for certain commercial items. The requirement is for a one-year period of performance for the following items: Siemens Altair Graph Studio Production License Siemens Altair Graph Lakehouse 16 Production Cores A brand name, sole source justification has been executed in support of this requirement. The Government requires these specific software products for their unique capabilities in support of digital engineering, MBSE, and data fabric initiatives, and for their proven interoperability with existing enterprise platforms. Market research indicates that no other products nor vendors can meet the Government's technical requirements. Notice to Industry: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A solicitation will not be issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be submitted via email to the Primary Point of Contact listed above no later than the stated Response Date.
