Description
Sources Sought - Solicitation Number: 36C26026Q0609, Project 668-24-106, Renovate CLC East Wing and Courtyard. This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids; nor a synopsis of a proposed contract action under FAR Subpart 5.2 and no contract shall be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. No solicitation is available currently. This notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested Small Businesses. Responses to this Sources Sought may shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation. It is the intent of the VA to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research for the renovation of the Community Living Center (CLC) east wing and courtyard, Building 12, at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. This project renovates 7730 sf of space in the east wing, 1st floor of Building 12 to modernize the space. Some work will have to be performed in the adjacent north wing to connect HVAC systems and other building infrastructure. It also renovates the courtyard space created by a recent addition of a treatment wing. The purpose of this project is to upgrade CLC to current VA standards. Facility condition deficiencies associated with renovated areas will be addressed as well. See the attached Statement of Work (SOW), 100% Design Specifications and Drawings. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business Size Standard is $45 million. Sources are highly encouraged to respond to this notice. After review of the responses to this notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with this project, a separate pre-solicitation announcement will be published on www.SAM.gov. Responses are requested with the following information: (1) Email subject line needs to contain the solicitation number 36C26026Q0609. (2) The Sources Sought Contractor Information Form . Please complete all boxes. (3) The Sources Sought Past Performance Project Data Form . Please submit one form for each relevant roofing project completed within the past five years of the issue date of this Sources Sought notice. No more than three (3) project submissions. (4) ONLY SDVOSB or VOSB businesses - please include a description as to how your company would maintain compliance with VAAR 852.219-75, VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Services and Construction. (4) All other socio-economic businesses please include a description as to how your company would maintain compliance with FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting. Note: Do not include Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information in responses. NO RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY FAX. Responses will not be returned.
