Description

The Permanent Mission of the United States of America in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks qualified companies to provide a short-term disability insurance due to incapacity as a result of sickness or accident to employees of the Government of the United States of America in U.S. Mission Geneva Switzerland. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Mission in Geneva will launch the solicitation on the Contract Opportunities website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is responsible contractor. The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract under which will be issued firm, fixed-price task orders All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System of Award Management) database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
