Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to the Comfort Inn for hotel rooms needed to accommodate 26 Double Occupancy rooms for SIU #129 students. Check in date is August 15, 2026 and check out date is September 12, 2026. The Comfort Inn is located 8.4 miles (14 minutes) from the DEA Training Academy and 450ft (4 minute walk) from the Stafford Training Center. With base requirements for accessibility, students require as much time as possible to gain entry to the facility. It is also centrally located with many restaurants within walking distance. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government�s requirement detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The facility must be on the List of Approved Hotels and Motels for Federal Travelers (fema.gov). The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 12 �Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services�. A redacted version of the approved Sole Source Documentation is attached to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 721110. The business size standard is $40,000,000. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is July 23, 2026 @ 12:PM A.M. Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Lori.A.Love@dea.gov.
