Description
Dear Quoter, Enclosed is a solicitation package from the Contracting Office at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, West Virginia. This acquisition is for various dairy products needed for the facility. The package contains all necessary information for submitting a Request for Quote (RFQ) 15B10126Q00000016, which will be evaluated. Please read this document in its entirety to ensure all requirements are understood and met. When submitting your RFQ, please review and consider all the information provided in this solicitation package. Be sure to follow the instructions regarding the content, format, and submission of your quote. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the exclusion of your quote from consideration. All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the provision 52.204-7 System for Award Management. This provision reads: FAR 52.204-7(b)(1) �An Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.�. Quoters must include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in their quotes. Vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to the award by entering the potential awardee�s UEI number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in the elimination from consideration for award. The Government reserves the right to make a formal award to a single vendor or multiple vendors, based on the best overall value, which will be evaluated on price, delivery time, and past performance. Quotes must be received on or before the deadline of May 26, 2026 at 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. All quotes must be submitted by email to the following email address: Ashley Tabor, Procurement and Property Specialist, Email: atabor@bop.gov Please submit your quote only to the email address provided above. Late quotes will not be considered. If you have any questions, please submit them in writing to Ashley Tabor at the same email address. All applicable questions will be addressed, and responses will be provided when necessary. Please carefully review the cover letter, solicitation, and delivery schedule, as responses will not be given for questions already answered in those documents. Failure to supply an item or meet the delivery schedule may be considered a performance issue and could affect eligibility for future awards. Important Reminders: All quoted prices must be expressed with no more than two decimal points. Quotes with more than two (2) decimal places will not be considered. Awards valued over the Micro Purchase Threshold of $15,000 will be made with a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. Awards valued under the Micro Purchase Threshold of $15,000 will be made via a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Government Purchase Card transaction through the local food services department.
