PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS SOLICITATION IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN A THREE-YEAR, FIRM FIXED PRICE, INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT. NOUN: Fire Extinguisher NSN: 4210-01-677-2080 GUARANTEED MINIMUM QTY: 14 EA TOTAL CONRACT QTY (estimated): UP TO 281 EA PART NUMBER (P/N): 12610886 (main component is P/N 26447-001 (CAGE 54905)) CAGE: 19207 PRESERVATION: MIL PACKING: B INSP/ACCP: Origin/Origin FOB: Destination A Technical Data Package (TDP) is available for this procurement. See Source Sought Notice 2025-SPRDL125R0248. For approved sources of supply, Level 3 PPAP, CFAT and / or Other Special Requirements are waived. For vendors interested in becoming additional approved sources of supply, this item has a Level 3 PPAP and / or CFAT or Other Special Requirement. For details, questions or more info on becoming an additional approved source of supply for this part in future procurements, send requests to the JLTV Engineering mailbox: usarmy.detroit.peo-cs-css.mbx.jpo-jltv-sta-282-cfat-review@army.mil. Solicitation release to web will be approximately 1 December 2025; approximate closing date is 5 January 2026. Once posted, see the solicitation for actual closing date which will be available for downloading from https://sam.gov. REVERSE AUCTION: The solicitation will contain the DLAD reverse auction provision, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com. Any questions related to the reverse auction system or process can be directed to the Contract Specialist.
