Description

Pre-Solicitation Conference Announcement for Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew and Related Services (CMMARS) The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division will host a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew and Related Services (CMMARS) program. When: May 15-17, 2018. A general session will be held in the morning on 15 May. One-on-one sessions begin in the afternoon on 15 May and continue through 17 May. Where: Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, 44219 Airport Road, California, MD 20619 Purpose: Provide an overview of the draft request for proposal (RFP) and facilitate Government and industry communication with the intent of promoting a better understanding of the Government’s requirement. The one-on-one sessions encourage active industry participation in the review of the RFP and will allow interested parties to ask the Government questions to better understand the requirements. The anticipated applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, with a size standard of $32.5 million and the Product Service Code of J015 Maintenance and Repair of Aircraft. This effort is currently estimated at $12.6 billion. The draft RFP, N61340-18-R-1199, is scheduled for release by 1 May 2018. The anticipated award date is March 2019. The Government has 15 one-on-one sessions available for interested parties. Each one-on-one session is approximately 45 minutes. Each company or joint venture is limited to ten attendees. The CMMARS Pre-Solicitation Conference agenda is attached to this announcement. A company or joint venture shall use the Solicitation Section J Attachment 6, Solicitation Question/ Response Form to submit questions to the Government. Questions shall be submitted by 9 May, at 1200. Questions submitted by the date and time will be addressed at the Pre-Solicitation Conference. If a question is proprietary in nature, please mark according and the Government will respond to the question during the one-on-one session. Registration Instructions for the General Session: Send an email to the primary and secondary point of contacts listed below. The email should contain the name of the company, business size, CAGE code and the name of the attendees. Registration Instructions for a One-on-One Session: Send an email to the primary and secondary point of contacts listed below. The email should contain the name of the company, business size, CAGE code and the name of the ten attendees. One-on-one sessions will be scheduled based on the date and time stamp of the email. If your company is requesting a specific date and time for the one-on-one session, all attempts will be made to accommodate the request. However, if the date and time is filled, the next available date and time will be scheduled. If your company does not request a specific date and time, the next available date and time will be scheduled. You will receive a confirmation email with the date and time for the one-on-one session. If a company or joint venture requests a one-on-one session during the registration period but is unable to reserve one of the 15 available sessions, the Government will accommodate a one-on-one session at a later date.
