SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE-SOURCE Temporal Artery Thermometers 36C25026Q0664 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richard L Roudebush VAMC, NCO 10 Contracting Activity intends to solicit to negotiate a sole source Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 6.103-1, soliciting from a single source for the following items listed below. NAICS code for this is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The LB vendor will be SpaceLabs Healthcare LLC, located at 35301 SE Center Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065-9216. Description of requirements: The Richard L Roudebush VAMC is requesting the purchase of the Made in America, 1 (one), Temporal Artery Thermometer. These are the only items that will meet the current Cerner integration for the Fort Wayne Campus. Line Item Description Quantity Unit of Measure 0001 Exergen Thermometer, Coiled USB cable Temporal artery thermometer (Part Number 010-2157-00) 110 EA Delivery will be to: Department of Veterans Affairs Richard L Roudebush VAMC 1481 W. 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202 A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
