Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is to make the following changes: To provide responses to industry questions regarding this solicitation. Please see attachement, "Response to Industry Questions". Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to make the following changes: To provide industry with ATTLA Certification document. Please see attached, "ATTLA Cert Freightliner" and "ATTLA Cert Patrol Boat". This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.201-1, �Simplified Procedures,� as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; �quotations� are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation number N0024426Q0043 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). RFQ N0024426Q0043 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01 published in the Federal Register on 13 March 2026. Small business joint venture quoters have to submit the joint venture representations at paragraph (c) of FAR solicitation provision 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations, with each offer. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside competition requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332999 - Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 Employees. All interested companies shall provide a quotation for: Maritime Expeditionary Security Group ONE (MESG-1) requires Two (2) Kits Air Transport Test Loading Activity (ATTLA) certified Defense Airlift Modular Approach Shoring (DAMAS) rated for 36,000-lb (36K) Axles, with a 3.5-to-one safety factor. The legacy method of using heavy, wood-based shoring is logistically burdensome, requires significant personnel and time to assemble, and is prone to damage and customs delays.
