Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0470 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The work includes replacing all the carbon steel piping components within PPW Vaults 101B, 103 and 105 with stainless steel components; replace all existing valves with new stainless steel, full-port ball valves and insulate all piping in the vaults at the USDA Campus, located at 1920 Dayton Avenue in Ames, IA. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $45M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. While not required, all contractors are encouraged to satisfy their obligations under FAR 52.236-3, acknowledging you�ve taken all reasonably necessary steps to ascertain the nature of the work and satisfy yourself with the general conditions that affect your price.
