Description
The objective of this project is to remediate life safety deficiencies identified on the TT300 sliding vehicle gates at the U.S. Consulate Naha in accordance with UL 325, ASTM F2200, and Department of State guidance issued in ALDAC 24 STATE 114014. The gates currently lack required physical stops, do not meet entrapment zone protection requirements, and require additional safety sensors to prevent run out, entrapment, and tip over hazards. This project will construct new retaining wall extensions, install IR sensors and safety edge switches, and integrate all safety devices into the existing gate control system to ensure safe operation and compliance with Department standards. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. All U.S. Contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective quoters are required to register prior to the submittal of quotations. It is recommended for oversea Contractors to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to an award of the contract. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021) Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses. Please submit your quote prior to the response date and time. Please ensure your email with your quote does not exceed 15MB, if it does then you might have to send more than one email.
