Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin, (LCB), intends to negotiate and award a contract on a non-competitive basis, to Hac Company, 5600 Lindbergh, Loveland, CO 80538. The Yuma Area Office has a requirement for annual on-site preventative maintenance/calibration/certification service, technical support, and software upgrades training and phone technical support for Hach AT1000 and DR1300 FL Fluorometer equipment. Hach's factory-trained service personnel are the only individuals authorized to perform any repair, start-up service, or maintenance on Hach instruments. Due to the many different parameters and types of analyzers, Hach does not recognize or authorize any other service organization to perform repair or calibration services on Hach analyzers. Unauthorized repairs and use of non-Hach supplied parts will result in voiding the instrument warranty. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAIC) identified for this action is 811210 - Electronic & Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenances. The Small Business Size Standard is $34M. The anticipated award date is May 22, 2026. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Diane Rodriguez at DLRodriguez@usbr.gov. Inquiries must clearly state the solicitation number and subject. Inquiries must be received no later than May 18, 2026. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement by evidence as to how your company will provide preventative maintenance, technical support, and software upgrades as Hach's factory trained service personnel may inquire with the point of contact listed below. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Diane Rodriguez at diane_rodriguez@ios.doi.gov. Inquiries must clearly state the solicitation number (140R3026Q0075) and subject. The contract award information will be posted on SAM.gov, Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only.
