Description
Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract for the rental of one (1) 800 cfm Air Compressor and one (1) 930 cfm minimum Regenerative Air Dryer Unit. The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 12.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Total Small Businesses only. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 532490. The small business size standard is 1400. The Product Service Code is W043. The anticipated Period of Performance is 7/13/2026 through 10/30/2026. Please note that this is a draft solicitation for planning purposes only. It does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government is not obligated to make an award based on this notice, nor will the Government pay for any information or preparation costs incurred in response to this draft. In the event the Government elects to proceed with a formal solicitation, all information and documentation submitted in response to this draft notice will be retained and formally considered at that time.To ensure a comprehensive review of your organization's qualifications and capabilities, interested vendors must submit a complete response package. In order to be considered under this draft notice, please provide the following three (3) distinct deliverables: Rental Equipment Specifications, Technical Capability Form, and Price Quotation.
