Description

Action: Pre-solicitation Synopsis Purpose: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote (RFP/RFQ) or an Invitation For Bid (IFB), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government. The synopsis is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Multiple Award Contract (MAC) - Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) � Contract Period - Five (5) year contract with one (1) five (5) year option, for a potential total contract length of 10 years Items: Remanufacture - Accessory Drive Gearbox (ADG) -NSN:2835012080169RP Remanufacture - Jet Fuel Starters (JFS) � NSNs:2835013083769RP, 2835016892101RP The Accessory Drive Gearbox and Jet Fuel Starter are utilized in the Secondary Power System of the F-16 C/D Aircraft. The JFS is a back to back centrifugal compressor-turbine engine which provides shaft horsepower directly to the ADG. The ADG itself acts as an interface between the JFS and the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft. Year: 2026 Product Code: 2835 - Supply Subject: - ADG & JFSs Remanufacture MAC IDIQ Proposed Solicitation Number: FA825226R0073 Closing Response Date: As documented on SAM.gov Restricted to Qualified Sources: See FAR Part 52.209-1 The requirements of FAR 9.202(a) apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Interested vendors that have not been previously approved for this acquisition must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to the Source Development Small Business Office or the Contracting Officer. As prescribed in FAR 9.202(e), the contracting officer need not delay a proposed award in order to provide a potential offeror with an opportunity to demonstrate its ability to meet the standards (see attached RQR) Foreign Participation: Restricted Qualification Point of Contact (POC): Program Engineer � Jeffrey Wigington, jeffrey.wigington@us.af.mil.
