Description
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103.1 using FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, contracting procedures. This is a sole source requirement with RMC 3R: The RMC code is 3R (Sole Source). Repair, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. QTY 3 EA , NSN 4Y 4130 01 051 5534, R114 A/C Compressor. Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00104-24-G-YX01 terms and conditions apply. In conjunction with the Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS), the requirement and subsequent award shall be rated �DX". The solicitation will be posted to SAM.GOV contract opportunities after the close of Presolicitation / Synopsis period.
