Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for ongoing preventative and remedial maintenance on a Pauli Systems, Inc. portable/mobile paint and media blast booth and RAM 21C-2 (Dry Striping Machine) in accordance with the solicitation specifications. The equipment to be serviced is located at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, in Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan. Period of performance tentatively begins 27 May 2019 - 26 May 2020 with four one-year option periods, which may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Shipping terms will be FOB destination. This acquisition will be negotiated on a basis of other than full and open competition. Pauli Systems, Inc. is the only qualified contractor with access to the technical data needed to service the paint and media blast booth and dry striping machine. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date. A determination to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 14 May 2019 with proposals due by 17 May 2019. A Firm-Fixed Price, Service type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Emailed completed solicitations are acceptable. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes via NECO is not available at this time.
